On Tuesday night of Arts Showcase week, the Mali Mia Theatre was bursting with both musicians and audience.
140 performers from Year 1 to Year 12 presented music performances as members of the many and varied performing groups of Swan. We heard five Choirs, the Junior School Orchestra, Concert Band, String Ensemble, Drum Corps and Jazz Band all in full flight.
The night was ably hosted by various students who introduced the music with humour and created a fun, warm atmosphere. A highlight of the night was the finale, which saw all the members of the choirs joining forces with featured soloists and accompanied by a rhythm section.
