Christmas Hamper Appeal

For the third year in a row, the College is partnering with the local registered charity, New Life Welfare (W.A.) Inc, to provide Christmas hampers/emergency relief for people in need in Midland and surrounding suburbs. We would like to invite you to join us in donating items to this cause.

This year your help is needed more than ever. Variety Club WA recently made a shock announcement, advising that all Charitylink programs, including Christmas/Winter and Back to School programs will be put on hold indefinitely, effective immediately, due to funding issues.

Junior School

Each classroom will have its own special collection basket, which you will find either outside the door or at the front of the classroom.

Middle/Senior School

Boxes will be placed in several areas around the College. Look out for Christmas wrapped boxes, which will be labelled. There will be a box near the library, at Administration and at Student Services.

Donations

Below are some ideas of items you may wish to contribute:

  • Christmas food (mince pies, Christmas cake/puddings, biscuits, tinned ham/tuna/salmon)
  • General pantry items (non-perishable, tinned fruit/vegetables, rice, pasta, sauces, crackers)
  • Drinks (non-alcoholic), cordial, soft drinks
  • (Long-life) milk, custard, cream.

The baskets will be emptied regularly, with final collection on the last day of term. Through our generous College community, we hope to assist New Life Welfare in ‘sharing God’s love in a practical way’ and develop links with the local community.

Thank you in advance for joining with us as we work together to bring joy to our local community this Christmas.
