Hosting Families Needed

As part of our intercultural program at Swan, we are hosting a group of Japanese students in late November and require host families to accommodate the students.

The students will arrive at the College after school on 24 November (Friday) and depart before school on 29 November (Wednesday). They will spend five nights and four days with their hosting family during this time.

Hosting is as simple as involving the student in your daily routines such as walking the dog, going to church, sporting activities and local shops and even helping out with chores. The things we do every day and on weekends are often the highlights of their trip. As part of their program they will be visiting the main tourist spots of Perth, Fremantle and Caversham Wildlife Park, so there will no need to arrange special visits to these places.

Any families who are part of Swan Christian College are welcome to host (your child does not have to be studying Japanese).

Hosting families will receive $200 to assist with meals and board of the students.

If you are able to host a student, please contact Trish Knoblich at trishk@scea.wa.edu.au at your earliest convenience.

Your consideration and support with this program are most appreciated.
