20 students from Osaka Kasugaoka High School will be visiting Swan Christian College in Term 3. Please support the visit by offering to host a student for nine nights, from Tuesday 24 July to Thursday 2 August.
Apart from friendship and the opportunity to participate in family life, host families only need to provide a bed (a mattress on the floor is OK) and meals (as normal) for the students. Families will receive a substantial payment to cover the student’s living expenses.
The Japanese students will start and end their day at Swan Christian College in line with the normal College timetable. At school they will have their own program and join some regular classes. Shoji Australia Pty. Ltd. facilitate the program and act as guardians for the students during their stay and offer bilingual support (including after office hours and 24 hours for emergencies) to students and host families.
