43 students from Years 6 – 12 enjoyed three days of making music at Camp Cooloongup in Baldivis. The days were busily spent rehearsing and having fun doing team activities and music workshops.
Students rehearsed in either the Jazz Band, Concert Band, Choir or String ensemble and by the end of camp had made great progress on lots of repertoire. Activities included a water slide, mini golf, bouncy castle, talent show, dancing, games and sports. Everyone had lots of fun and we are already looking forward to next year’s camp.
Camp Concert
There will be a Music Concert in the Maali Mia on Wednesday 3 April at 7:00pm to showcase the music that we worked on at camp. The concert will feature the Jazz Band, Concert Band, String Ensemble and Choirs. Everyone is welcome to this free event – no tickets required.
