Twice – A Story About Love

This is Fenceline Theatre Company’s community show for 2021. It has been cast from the wider theatre cohort in WA and Fenceline Theatre Direct Jane Hille says she is really pleased to be working with some very talented artists who have joined our extended artistic community.

  • Danielle Antaki plays Beth
  • Dave Jones plays Douglas and
  • Michael Dornan Plays Whittaker
  • Music by Matthew King

This is a contemporary love story about people who have fallen in love, married and then lost that love, through a mismatch, illness, or death. But loss it turns out is the great life leveller. We all experience it and through pain, we learn about the choices life has for us.

Twice deals with contemporary and universal issues such as loneliness, grief, forgiveness, isolation, aging and dementia.

This is an intimate and heart-warming story, and it opens the first week of Term 3, 28-31 July 2021.

Tickets for Twice are now available through Trybooking.com

Honk! Junior

The ensemble cast of Honk! have been busy rehearsing the musical’s songs with Mr Raymond.  There are some wonderful tunes in this show and Mr Raymond has made comment on more than one occasion that the lyrics are both clever and fun. He is pleased with the progress they are making.

The dance ensemble troop are also rehearsing dance routines for the show under the creative and watchful eyes of our choreographers Mrs Balla and Mr Ghouse. They have nearly completed all the steps for one of the bigger dance numbers in the show.

Honk! is an award-winning musical adaptation of the 1843 Hans Christian Andersen story The Ugly Duckling, a message about acceptance and belonging.

The Show opens at the end of Term 3. Tickets will be available through Trybooking.

Wooing Wed Widing Hood

Finally, 39 super students began rehearsals yesterday for Wooing!

It was spectacular. What an amazing group of Year 5 and Year 6 students we have. This fractured fairy tale is full of twist and turns and you’ll have to hold on tight if you’re going to make it to the end.

Not only do we have the entire Hood family, but there are appearances from Rapunzel, Snow White the Evil Queen Goldilocks, the Bears, the Dwarfs…this show is a plethora of fairy tale celebrities!

This show opens early in Term 4. Tickets will be available through Trybooking.
