A big thank you must be made to Mr Ian Harris for his role as Dean of Year 9 for 2019. At the conclusion of this year, Mr Harris will move back into a full-time teaching role remaining at Swan Christian College.
I would like to acknowledge his contribution to leading the pastoral care program for Year 9 students. Mr Harris is strategic, thoughtful and has a genuine heart for our students. The Year 9 pastoral care has seen a significant growth in our students under his leadership. Mr Harris successfully led the Story and Challenge camp with thought and thorough preparation, allowing the group to enjoy a range of activities down at Dwellingup. Mr Harris’ contribution to the Year 9s and his colleagues has been appreciated. Thank you for the work you have put into growing our students in preparation for Year 10.
