A recommendation by our Head of Instrumental Music: ABC’s Don’t Stop the Music! The documentary highlights the transformative effects of teaching music in primary schools.
ABC recently broadcasted a wonderful three-part documentary that followed the journey of Challis Primary School (Armadale WA) as they introduced music lessons and worked towards a concert at the Perth Concert Hall.
They enlisted the help of Guy Sebastian, James Morrison, WAAPA and UWA and the documentary really highlights the difference music is making in these young lives.
