On Friday 26 September, our Junior School will be holding the Cambodia Colour Fun Run to support RAW Impact, a charity that brings hope and practical help to communities in Cambodia.
On Wednesday 20 August, the Year 1 and 2 students participated in an incursion by the Water Corp. They learned about Perth’s three drinking water sources, completed activities to learn about the need to protect our catchments, and understood the journey of water and its treatment from the sources to our taps.
We’re excited to invite families to this year’s Junior School production, Hop It, Poppit!, presented by Fenceline Theatre. This original performance promises a delightful mix of humour, heart and important life lessons.
On Thursday 7 August, the Swan Early Learning community came together for a heartwarming Kindergarten Dinner, uniting parents and children who will embark on a fantastic Kindergarten journey in 2026.
From 11 to 15 August, the Science Department celebrated Science Week with a series of engaging lunchtime activities under the theme Decoding the Universe. Students explored topics such as DNA, blood, chemistry, Earth and space through hands-on sessions, films and discussions.
Year 10 students at Swan Christian College are invited to take part in the Try a Trade Hospitality Day in the Swan Hospitality kitchen on Wednesday 17 September 2025.
On 24 June, a group of 26 students and seven staff travelled to Cambodia to work with RAW Impact. The trip began with a day of learning about the country’s culture and history, helping the team understand the context and challenges faced by local communities.
With the Year 9s in Term 2, we studied a unit on bread. Students learnt about the history of bread, the varieties found around the world, the different raising agents, and how oven temperature affects the final result.
On Sunday 10 August, our Year 8 and Year 9 Specialist Dance students travelled to Newman College to participate in our second School to Stage Dance Competition.
Interhouse Performing Arts Day in the Maali Mia Theatre on 24 July showcased a vibrant celebration of creativity, talent and house spirit.
On Friday 15 August, Swan Christian College was proud to host the Jobs Galore 2025 business breakfast, drawing nearly 500 guests to the College Gymnasium.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming an everyday part of our world - from voice assistants to educational tools that can generate ideas, summarise information, and offer personalised learning pathways. In our Christian school context, it’s important to reflect not only on ‘how’ we use AI, but also on ‘why’ we use it, ensuring our approach aligns with biblical wisdom and our commitment to nurturing the whole child.
We are excited to invite all alumni from the classes of 1995, 2005, and 2015 to join us for a memorable evening at the College.
Families are reminded of the College’s withdrawal policy, future enrolment guidelines, and key intake years to help support forward planning and ensure a smooth enrolment process.
On Monday 18 August, parents gathered in the Maali Room for the Term 3 Parent Coffee and Connect Morning Tea, hosted by the College Executive Team. The morning provided a relaxed opportunity for connection, conversation, and a shared vision for the future of the College.
In Term 3, our Instrumental Music department is proud to present music concerts featuring our students in Junior and Senior Schools. 
On Tuesday 19 August, the whole College came together to celebrate Book Week, with students and staff alike embracing the joy of storytelling and creativity.
The Senior School House Athletics Carnival was held on Wednesday 6 August at WA Athletics Stadium. Students competed in a variety of track and field events, giving their best efforts and showing strong House spirit.
Families are encouraged to consider enrolling their children in the upcoming VacSwim programs during the October and summer (December/January) school holidays.
Swan View Cricket Club is recruiting women aged 17 and over for its entry-level team—no experience needed. Whether you're returning to sport, trying something new, or just keen to be part of a supportive and inclusive club, this is a great opportunity.
Our Pre Primary to Year 6 Cross Country Carnival on Wednesday 30 July was a wonderful event as students gave their all and cheered on their classmates.
