The Languages Department is delighted to announce the 2024 team of Languages Ambassadors. The role of the Ambassadors is to promote the value and benefit of learning a language throughout the school community and to plan and organize events throughout the year that celebrate languages. The team comprises students of French and Japanese from Years 7 to 11.
Successful candidates completed an application form and attended a short follow-up chat, in which they were invited to outline some ideas and discuss how they would work together with their fellow Ambassadors.
Our first meeting was on Wednesday, 27 March. I look forward to working with this enthusiastic group of students, who will be formally acknowledged at an Assembly in Term 2.
