On 17 May Saturday evening, the Gym at Swan Christian College was alive with music, movement and community spirit as families from across the Junior and Senior Schools gathered for the College’s much-anticipated Community Bushdance.
Led by the energetic Cherry Steppers, everyone was on their feet enjoying an evening of laughter, dancing and good old-fashioned fun. With professional guidance from the modern line dancing group, even first-time dancers were confidently stepping in time by the end of the night.
Families brought along picnic dinners, chairs and rugs, while coffee and ice cream vans kept everyone refreshed throughout the event. From cowboy hats to boots and checked shirts, the bushdance-themed attire added a splash of colour and flair to the festive indoor atmosphere.
It was a joy to see so many in our community come together for an event that celebrated connection, fun and fellowship.
