Junior School students can look forward to an exciting and purposeful Cambodia Day on Friday 26 September in Term 3, with the Colour Fun Run as the centrepiece of the event.
This annual day is a key opportunity for the College community to come together in support of RAW Impact (Raise Awareness Worldwide), a Christian organisation working to create sustainable change through hands-on projects in Cambodia and Australia. Students will be encouraged to reflect on what it means to ‘Love Your Neighbour’ and to consider how their actions, no matter how small, can make a real difference.
In the lead-up to the day, students will seek online sponsorship for their participation in the Colour Fun Run. All funds raised will go directly to support RAW Impact’s ongoing work in Cambodian communities. A fundraising link will be provided early in Term 3.
Families are also invited to contribute to the event by donating preloved toys, books and games for the Bring and Buy Stall. These items will help raise additional funds and provide another way for students to get involved.
Cambodia Colour Fun Day is a valuable opportunity for students to engage with service learning in a tangible and meaningful way—celebrating generosity, community, and fun while helping others in need.
