On Friday 28 March, Swan Christian College came alive with colour and community spirit as we celebrated Cultural Celebration Day across both the Junior School and Senior School.
Junior School families were invited to join us in the Gym for a vibrant morning of celebration. Kindergarten to Year 6 students proudly wore clothing representing their cultural backgrounds, showcasing the diversity within our College community. It was a joy to see so many colourful and meaningful outfits on display, and we thank our families for their support and participation.
In the Senior School, students also embraced the opportunity to express their cultural heritage through dress. The day began with Mentor Group and Living Well classes, before students gathered in the Gym at 9:30am for a Senior School Assembly, led by our Year 12 cohort. The celebrations continued into lunchtime, with themed performances at the Chilled Friday Amphitheatre, adding a festive energy to the day.
We are grateful for the chance to recognise and celebrate the unique backgrounds that make up our College family, reflecting our commitment to building community.
