The ACC Interschool Swimming Carnival was held on Monday 24 March at Perth HPC (formerly HBF Stadium) and the team represented the College with excellence, both in and out of the pool. We ended up finishing a respectable 5th (out of 8 schools) and were only 15 points behind the 4th placed school (see overall results below). If not for missing two relay teams, a third being disqualified, and a few individual disqualifications throughout the day, we would have confidently secured 4th place overall!
A number of our students performed very well, finishing in the top five for their age group and gender. In particular, congratulations goes to Evelyn C (Year 8) and James T (Year 11) who were their respective age champions. Special thanks goes to Mr Twine and Mrs McMinn for assisting with our team, as well as Dr Darnelle Pretorius for coming down and spending some time cheering on our students. Thank you also to the many parents for supporting us on the day, it was greatly appreciated!
