Curtin University is inviting families to take part in a research study focused on supporting primary school-aged children (6–12 years old) who have experienced grief. This includes grief related to the death of a person or pet, as well as parental separation or divorce.
The study is part of a Telethon-funded project and offers families access to a parent-guided internet intervention designed to support children navigating grief. The program aims to equip parents with tools to help their children process their experiences in a healthy and supportive way.
Participation is open to families across Western Australia, and all involvement can be completed online at a time that suits each family. Families who take part will receive $75 in compensation for their time.
Interested families can sign up directly via the website: www.skilgrief.com
