This past week, audiences were treated to a lively and entertaining theatre experience as Making Robin Hood took to the stage at Maali Mia Theatre. Directed by Jane Hille and featuring a cast of talented Swan Christian College alumni, the show played to enthusiastic crowds across its three-night run, with opening night completely sold out.
A backstage comedy of errors, Making Robin Hood reimagined the legendary tale with a chaotic twist. It featured confused scripts, larger-than-life egos, and a dragon thrown in for good measure. Despite being packed with satire, quick wit, and theatrical mishaps, it was also full of heart, capturing the spirit of live performance and creative storytelling.
The production’s clever humour, fast pacing, and strong performances had the audience in stitches from start to finish. The final performance wrapped up on Wednesday evening, bringing the curtain down on what was a truly memorable week for our alumni and the wider College community.
Congratulations to everyone involved, both onstage and behind the scenes, for delivering a show filled with energy, creativity, and unmistakable Swan flair.
