On Wednesday, 12 November, a select group of Year 10 Business students attended the Swan Chamber of Commerce 'Hour of Power' event at The Crooked Spire in Midland.

Earlier this Term, our Junior School students were treated to a very special performance by Christian children’s entertainer Dan Warlow.

On Friday 21 November, our Kindergarten students were thrilled by a surprise visit from local police officers.

This year’s Community Carols was a wonderful celebration of Christmas, bringing together families, students, and staff for an evening of joy and togetherness.

Midland uniform shop Perm-A-Pleat holiday hours

Midland Perm-A-Pleat Uniform Shop will be open normal hours during the holidays but will be closed over the Christmas period.

School holiday hours and term dates

School holidays will run from Wednesday 10 December 2025. Term 1 of 2026 will begin on Friday 30 January 2026 for Year 7s, and all other year groups commence on Monday 2 February 2026. 

Junior School Athletics Carnival

On Friday 24 October, Swan Christian College hosted the Junior School Athletics Carnival, and what a fantastic day it was. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy as our students took to the field, proudly representing their House colours.

Principal’s Art Acquisition Award

We are delighted to celebrate the artistic achievement of Year 12 student Shinella W., who has been awarded the Principal’s Art Acquisition Award for 2025.

Local photographer E.K.R Photography is offering Year 12 pre-ball photoshoots to our graduating class of 2026.

Term 4 Tennis Lessons

Frontier Tennis, led by Tennis Australia-accredited coach Cameron Fenner, is offering after-school coaching at Swan Christian College again this term.

New Social Media Regulations for Under 16s

From 10 December 2025, new Australian laws will restrict access to social media for those under the age of 16.

Year 12 Valedictory Dinner

On Tuesday 28 October, our College community gathered at Optus Stadium to celebrate the 2025 Year 12 Graduates at their Valedictory Dinner.

Year 11 River Cruise

Last week, Monday 3 November, marked an exciting first for the College, as our Year 11 students set sail on the Swan River for our inaugural River Cruise.

NEAS Indoor Cricket Tournament

During the last week of October, two teams of enthusiastic Year 8-9 students represented Swan Christian College at the inaugural NEAS (ACC) Interschool Indoor Cricket Tournaments. The tournaments were a great success, with students enjoying two energetic days of competition; one for the girls and one for the boys.

2025 WA All Schools Athletics Championships

On the weekend of 31 October – 2 November, several Swan Christian College students competed at the 2025 WA All Schools Athletics Championships held at the WA Athletics Stadium in Floreat. Our students performed exceptionally well, achieving outstanding results and representing the College with pride.

Screen Pathways Initiative: Borrowed Song – Awards Lunch

On Friday, 7 November, the College hosted a special screening and awards lunch to celebrate the culmination of the Inaugural Screen Pathways Initiative.

Year 6 Graduation

Parents and students in Years 7 to 11 are invited to College Presentation Night on Tuesday 9 December at 6:15pm.

Grandparents Picnic and Loud Shirt Day

On 4 November, our Junior School community gathered to celebrate our wonderful grandparents and significant others at the annual Grandparents Picnic.

Brownes Dairy and Margaret River Chocolate Factory Excursion

Earlier in Term 4, our Pre-Primary students recently enjoyed a wonderful day at Brownes Dairy and Margaret River Chocolate Factory.

Community Movie Night

You are invited to our Community Movie Night on Saturday 15 November. Join us for a night under the stars featuring Christmas must-see ‘Home Alone’.
