On 13 September, the College Captains and Christian Union Captains took part in a student leadership and spiritual formation training session, gaining valuable skills to help shape the culture at Swan Christian College.
Alivia C, Year 12, has been selected to represent Western Australia at the Australian Interschool Equestrian Championships, held from 19-23 September 2024 in Tamworth, NSW.
Austin R of Year 12 recently represented Western Australia in the Invitational U18s Round Robin at the Royal Adelaide Show, where he also competed in open events such as Underhand, Standing Block, and a championship.
On 12 September, Swan Christian College came together on campus to raise awareness for mental health on R U OK Day. Students and staff wore yellow accessories, such as scarves, ribbons, hats, and socks, to remind everyone to check in on those around them who might be struggling.
Swan Christian College is accepting applications for the 2025 Luke Durbridge Sporting Scholarship, supporting young athletes in Years 7-12, with applications due by Friday 15 November.
Congratulations to the cast, crew, staff, parents, and Ms Jane Hille for the outstanding performances of With Good Measure There’s a Little More at Fenceline Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday, 10-11 September.

Our Inclusive Education Team is excited to announce the development of the new RISE & SHINE Room in Junior School. This initiative is an extension of our Inclusive Education program, designed to support students who may need additional assistance to fully engage and thrive in the classroom.
This year, we are excited to introduce a new format for our awards ceremonies. Junior and Senior School students will have separate award assemblies, and the College Presentation Night will now focus on celebrating the achievements of our Year 7 to 11 students.
Audrey M, a Year 6 student, has excelled in soccer, scoring over 70 goals in 2024 and earning a spot in the NTC 2025 under 13 squad, with dreams of playing for the Matildas.

Centrecare Midland is organising a Christmas donation drive to support families facing cost-of-living pressures this year.
The 2024 ADHD WA Conference will be held at Optus Stadium on Saturday, 19 October 2024. This event promises to be a valuable opportunity for parents, carers, and professionals to gain insights into ADHD and related topics. 
Tennis coaching at Swan Christian College will be going ahead in Term 4.
The Hills Rangers Amateur Women’s Football Team is currently seeking expressions of interest for the 2025 season. Females aged 17+ with all skill and fitness levels are welcome.
