Join us for Family Breakfast on Friday 7 March from 7:30am – 8:30am before school at How Ya Bean Cafe (outside the Gym).
Gratitude, we are told, is essential to well-being. Positive psychology researcher Martin Seligman strongly advocates for gratitude journaling, incorporating it into the Master Resiliency Training course he helped develop for the Army. He and his colleagues emphasize that people who regularly acknowledge and express gratitude experience improved health, better sleep, stronger relationships, and enhanced performance.
The Class of 2024 has achieved outstanding results, and we are proud to celebrate their hard work and dedication. Their achievements reflect their perseverance and commitment to excellence at Swan Christian College.
Parents from both the Junior and Senior Schools gathered in the Maali Room on Monday 24 February for the Term 1 Parent Coffee and Connect Morning Tea. The event provided a valuable opportunity for parents to connect with the College’s Executive Team and engage in a meaningful discussion on raising active, engaged citizens and Christians in today’s complex world.

In memory of Mr Donald Smith, a beloved teacher who shared his passion for chess with so many students, Swan Christian College has renamed the shield awarded to the winning house of the Interhouse Chess Tournament as the Donald Smith Memorial Shield.

We are looking for parent volunteers to assist with our upcoming musical, Fiddler on the Roof Junior. Additionally, we are seeking Alumni, Parents, and Staff to take part in Making Robin Hood, a lighthearted satire featuring a cast of seven (two women, five men).
We are excited to present Fenceline Theatre Company’s latest production, Fiddler on the Roof Junior! Some of our Senior School students will be dancing, singing and acting in this classic tale of a respected Jewish man and his family in 1905. 
On Monday, 9 December, we celebrated the graduation of our Year 6 students, marking the conclusion of their Junior School journey and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
School holidays will run from Thursday 12 December and finish on Monday 27 January. Students will return on Tuesday 28 January for Term 1, 2025.
Swan Christian College provides a private bus service for families living in and around Kalamunda. The bus service includes stops at Farrell Road and near Talbot Road.
The Midland Retail Outlet will be closed from Monday, 16 December 2024, until Monday, 6 January 2025, with its last trading day being Saturday, 14 December 2024.
On Monday, 15 November, Kindergarten had an exciting visit from local police officers, Sergeant Cooper and Constable Ommary.
On Friday 6 December, our College community came together in the Gym to celebrate the achievements of our Year 7 to 11 students at the annual College Presentation Night.

On Monday morning, 9 December 2024, we welcomed Bendigo Bank to our gathering to recognise one of our remarkable Year 4 students, Bridgette D B, for her incredible fundraising efforts to raise $35,000 towards a seizure assistance dog for a family friend.
Students from Swan Christian College recently achieved remarkable success at both the LEGO League Regional Tournament at Aquinas College and the National Competition at Curtin University. Their journey showcased exceptional teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills, earning them widespread recognition.
This year’s Community Carols on Friday 29 November had us singing and dancing our hearts out!
Maddyson D, a talented Year 6 student, has achieved an incredible milestone by being selected to represent WA in Cross Country.
