Students across the College are celebrating Pi Day with a range of fun mathematical activities in both the Junior School and Senior School.
Junior School students took part in Pi Day on Monday 9 March. The winner of the Pi competition was able to recite 150 decimals of Pi from memory! Prizes were awarded to the winners. Students will also had the opportunity to make Pi-themed bracelets during lunch.
Senior School students will mark Pi Day on Monday 16 March. Mentor classes will take part in a Pi-themed quiz, with prizes awarded to the winners. At lunchtime, students will gather in the amphitheatre for a competition to see who can recite the most decimal places of the number Pi. The Senior School canteen will be selling special pies on the day.
