On Wednesday 25 March, Mr Zachary MacLachlan, Dean of Christian Living, organised a SCEA Lighthouse Day where Lighthouse CRU students from several SCEA schools came together for a time of encouragement and connection. Students from Swan Christian College, Mundaring Christian College, Ellenbrook Christian College and Northshore Christian Grammar School gathered at Nations Church in Wangara.
The day included a time of worship and an encouraging message from the book of Romans. A representative from Nations Church also spoke with students about God’s calling and how He equips His people to serve Him.
Students from each school shared what their Lighthouse teams have been doing in their communities. In the afternoon, students worked in groups to reflect on what has been working well, the barriers they have faced and the opportunities they may have missed. These discussions helped students begin forming personal and Lighthouse goals for 2026.
Staff and students said the day was very inspiring and hope the gathering will continue again next year.
