Opportunity to Buy and Sell Secondhand Books and Uniforms!

Where: Swan Christian College Gymnasium
Time: 10:00am – 11:00am
Option 1
You sell your books/uniforms with 20% of all sales going to supporting College Committee Fundraising or Swan Missions.
Sellers Table Booking Fee – $10.00
All sales are cash only so please be prepared and bring change.
Option 2
Donate your books or uniforms with 100% of all sales going to supporting College Committee Fundraising for the College Bus Fundraiser or Swan Missions Projects for 3 new classrooms at the Light Up Ahead School in Kantolomba. Donations of books and uniforms may be submitted to Senior School Student Services, or brought to the Swan Centre on the day of the sale.
Secondhand Uniforms – Important Information
All uniforms sold on the day must be in good condition and be the current uniform. Only uniforms with new logo will be acceptable. Please note it is your responsibility to ensure you are buying the correct uniform items with the current logo. No responsibility will be taken by the College or the Uniform shop if you buy a uniform that is unacceptable in quality or style.
Secondhand Books – Important Information
When buying a second hand book extreme care should be given to ensure that the correct edition is bought. Please refer to the 2015 booklists. The College will not accept responsibility for incorrect purchases. Copies of the 2015 booklist will be available on the day.
Prices for Secondhand Books
As many parents are unsure how to price the books, the general ‘rule of thumb’ is that a book in very good condition being sold second-hand for the first time, is to be marked at half price, and then reduced after each successive sale according to its condition.
