We are excited to share some amazing achievements in the Textiles department here at our school. Last year, one of our Year 12 students, Chloe C, impressed us all by making her own ball dress. The craftsmanship and creativity she displayed were truly exceptional. This project serves as an inspiration to all our students that anything is possible with dedication and hard work.
In addition to this, some of our students (including Charley B of Year 10) have put together a stunning Textile display in the library. This display includes miniature mannequin designs, a beautifully quilted blanket, and a showcase of Chloe C’s Ball dress. The attention to detail and level of skill demonstrated by our students in these projects is truly remarkable.
This year promises to be an exciting one for Textiles as well. We have numerous projects and events planned, including a fashion show in Term 3 where our Year 12 students will showcase their projects for the year. We cannot wait to see the creative designs and innovative ideas that our students will bring to life in the coming months. We invite you to encourage and support your child as they explore the world of Textiles and unleash their creativity.
