On Wednesday 20 August, the Year 1 and 2 students participated in an incursion by the Water Corp. They learned about Perth’s three drinking water sources, completed activities to learn about the need to protect our catchments, and understood the journey of water and its treatment from the sources to our taps. They learned what should go down toilets, and what should not. Among the giggles was a deeper understanding of the need to look after our city pipes!
It was an informative, engaging, and hands on experience, and we are very grateful to have had the opportunity!
