Students and families are invited to attend Forum 2 of The Big Challenge – Wildlife Friendly Forums, taking place on Saturday 30 August at the Ellenbrook Youth Centre from 11:45am to 1:45pm.
This session focuses on the impact of rodent control on animals living in and around water, including the endangered Western Swamp Tortoise. Guest speakers include environmental educator Ian Barlow, reptile expert Dr Damian Lettoof, and youth advocate Poppy Mahon.
There will also be a meet-the-animals experience and information on safer alternatives to harmful pest control.
