Year 4 Camp: Ninja Adventures

Last Thursday, eight dedicated staff members accompanied 79 excited Year 4 students on their first ever Year 4 Camp. The theme for the camp was Ninja Academy, where students explored what it means to be a ‘ninja’ – focusing on qualities such as resilience, courage, teamwork and perseverance.

As with all great adventures, not everything went exactly to plan. It’s safe to say the male teachers earned the right to a few extra coffees the next morning after a particularly eventful night! Despite the sleep interruptions, the experience created lasting memories and meaningful moments for both staff and students.

Throughout the camp, students took part in a range of engaging activities designed to build character and teamwork. From dancing and laughter to challenges that helped many overcome fears, it was a joy to see the encouragement and support shared among peers. The photos captured tell a wonderful story – teachers dancing, children working together, and smiles all around.

We received several kind and encouraging messages from families following the recent camp. Here are some of the highlights:

  • “From myself and my family, we would like to thank you for helping with our child at camp and letting her return – she had a great experience and we are very appreciative of everyone’s support.”

  • “A huge thank you to the admin staff and teachers who made the camp possible. I know that a lot of work goes into these things, and we are very appreciative of everyone’s time and efforts.”

  • “I just wanted to say a big thank you for the fabulous time our daughter had at camp – she absolutely had a blast! She came back full of stories and great memories, and we really appreciate all the effort you and the team put into making it such a fun and enriching experience.”

  • “Thanks so much for organising and taking our kids on a wonderful camp! What an awesome time they had as a group and it looked like all the teachers had some fun too. Have a lovely weekend and rest up.”

  • “Thank you to all the attending teachers for ‘the best time ever.’ According to our daughter, she has not stopped talking about everything you all did, and she can’t wait for the next camp!”

  • “Thank you so much to all the education team for organising this camp, and for your communication. Our child had a wonderful time and we appreciate the planning and huge effort involved in making everything seem seamless. Have a well-deserved relaxing weekend.”

  • “Our son had a wonderful time – huge thanks to you and all the other teachers for organising such a fun time, giving them the experience, looking after them and for helping ease parents’ nerves. Hope you get some rest and have a wonderful weekend.”

A huge thank you to the staff who invested their time and energy into making this milestone event such a success.
