Last week, our Year 5 students enjoyed an exciting camp in Busselton with the theme: GO BEYOND – TOGETHER WE THRIVE.
Throughout the camp, students reflected on the story of Nehemiah in the Bible as they explored what it means to:
- Go Beyond in thinking beyond yourself
- Go Beyond in choosing to be brave
- Go Beyond when faced with opposition
- Go Beyond and finish what you start
These lessons encouraged students to grow in character, courage, and community as they shared the camp experience together.
Over three days, students also took part in a variety of activities that challenged them, built teamwork, and created lasting memories. Highlights included Gravity (Southwest Bounce), Forest Adventures with high ropes and zip-lining, and a visit to the spectacular Ngilgi Caves.
The camp was a wonderful opportunity for students to strengthen friendships, grow in resilience, and enjoy new adventures while being reminded of the importance of working together to thrive.
