Our Year 6 HASS students enjoyed an exciting day at the WA Maritime Museum in Fremantle, where they explored Western Australia’s rich maritime history and discovered how immigration has shaped the community we live in today.
Students engaged with a range of interactive exhibits and displays, learning about the journeys of people who travelled across the seas to make Australia their home. The visit deepened their understanding of how immigration has influenced our culture, economy, and identity.
It was a wonderful day of hands-on learning and curiosity, helping students connect classroom studies to real stories from Western Australia’s past.
