This week has been full of valuable experiences and memorable moments for students across the College. Our Year 9 students enjoyed their camp throughout the week, taking part in a range of outdoor activities. On Tuesday, selected students represented the College at the WACSSA Athletics Carnival, while the community paused for our Remembrance Day Assembly. Wednesday saw our Business students attend the Swan Chamber of Commerce’s Hour of Power event, engaging with local industry leaders. Today marked the final day of classes for our Year 11 students, as well as a joyful Dan Warlow concert for Junior School students. We look forward to seeing many families at tomorrow’s festive-themed Community Movie Night featuring, Home Alone. Tickets are still available so please book them now.

Junior and Senior School parents are warmly invited to join the Executive Team for the final Parent Coffee and Connect morning tea of the year in the Maali Room on Friday 21 November.
The theme is ‘Parents as Leaders’: Everyone flourishes when we lead well. We will discuss moving from being our child’s coach to being their champion.

Withdrawal Policy
At this time, we would like to remind families of our withdrawal policy. If you do choose to withdraw your child from Swan Christian College, please note that formal written notice addressed to the Principal is required. This notice must be provided at least one full school term in advance, defined as 10 weeks of instruction time (excluding holidays).
Verbal notice or emails sent to Deans of Year or classroom teachers will not be accepted as formal notice. If the required notice is not provided, one term’s fees will be charged in lieu of notice. Please send withdrawal notices to enrolments@swan.wa.edu.au.

We encourage you to submit applications for the following year groups now:
For current families planning future enrolments, we invite you to apply as soon as possible to secure your child’s place. New families should apply at least two years ahead of the intended intake year. Key intake years are Kindergarten, Year 3, Year 7 and Year 11, with other year levels subject to availability.

Join us for our annual Community Carols on the Junior School Oval! Gather your family and friends, and bring along a picnic dinner and a blanket for an evening of festive carols and community spirit. Christmas accessories are encouraged to add to the joy of the season.

Details: Come and celebrate our Kindergarten and Pre Primary students as they perform a ‘Wriggly Nativity.’ Kindergarten and Pre Primary families are invited to join us for a picnic in the Early Learning Centre.
Students will be finishing early after the picnic.

Parents and students in Years 7 to 11 are invited to College Presentation Night on Tuesday 9 December at 6:15pm when we will gather as a community to celebrate 2025.

We will celebrate the achievements of our individual students in Years 7 to 11. All students from Years 7-11 are expected to attend, wearing their summer uniform. Siblings, family, friends and 2025 Year 12 graduates are invited to join us in this celebration. Junior School students will have award assemblies on 10 December but are more than welcome to attend our College Presentation Night.

Our Senior School student body, working alongside our Christian Life Parent Committee, are invited to participate in our last free-dress day for Senior School students in 2025 as part of our annual Christmas Hamper food appeal. Â
On Friday 21 November, students in the Senior School are invited to wear a Christmas T-shirt with their school PE shorts, in exchange for a donated item of non-perishable food. These items will be added to Christmas Hampers distributed by New Life Welfare (Bellevue) to members of our community in need.
We will also place a giving basket in both Senior School Student Services and Front Administration for additional donations.
Thank you for helping our local families in need this Christmas.
