Week 2 has seen a number of events that brought our College community together. Last Saturday, 51 families enjoyed a special time of connection at the Fathers Kids Campout. On Tuesday, we welcomed 130 guests for our final College Tour of the year, while that evening the Visual Art Exhibition and Fashion Parade showcased the exceptional talent of our students in a packed and vibrant display. Also on Tuesday, our Pre Primary students visited Brownes Dairy for a hands-on learning experience. On Thursday, selected Year 7–12 students took part in Indigenous Leadership Day. Today, our Junior School Athletics Carnival was a wonderful display of team spirit and effort – well done to all who took part. At the same time, our STTC students served the community through gardening and building projects with the Salvation Army, and our Swanonline students enjoyed an excursion to Caversham Wildlife Park.
Looking ahead, next week brings another full calendar of events:

From 10 December 2025, new government legislation will require social media platforms to take reasonable steps to prevent Australians under 16 from creating or keeping accounts. This includes platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, X, and YouTube.
Swan Christian College supports this change as an important step in protecting young people online. We encourage parents to keep their children off social media for as long as possible and to help them build healthy online habits.
Parents and carers are encouraged to join free webinars in November and December to learn more:
