We are excited to announce that next term’s Art Exhibition will feature a special textile fashion show, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity of our Year 10 and 11 students. As part of their coursework, students have been developing unique textile pieces that reflect their individual styles, skills, and design processes.
The Screen Pathways Initiative of The Borrowed Song is a unique short film project bringing together industry filmmakers, university graduates, and Swan Christian College students and staff in a multi-tiered mentoring experience.
On Friday 12 September, we had the joy of celebrating our fantastic Swan Trade Training Centre (STTC) dads, grandfathers and guardians with a special Father’s Day breakfast.
On 27 August, our Senior School boys’ soccer team played with determination in the ACC Championship Final against CBC Fremantle. Although the result was a 2-0 loss, the team’s achievement in reaching the final stands as a historic first for Swan Christian College.
At the end of August, our Year 12 students had the opportunity to meet with representatives from several leading universities across Perth. The visiting universities shared valuable insights about study pathways and campus life.
Earlier in September, the College celebrated Languages Quiz Week with Senior School students and staff embracing the opportunity to explore different languages and cultures through interactive activities across campus.
Despite the stormy and rainy weather, our students showed determination and enthusiasm as they represented Swan Christian College at the Junior School Interschool Cross Country on Friday 5 September.
On Tuesday 2 September we welcomed our Junior School fathers and father figures for a special Father’s Day event.
Last week, Swan Christian College students and staff took time to begin an important conversation through R U OK? Day.
Come and celebrate the God given skills and talents of the Swan Christian College Dance community as students perform their classwork and other items from the year.
On Thursday 4 September, we welcomed 150 prospective parents and students to our Twilight Tour. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to explore our beautiful College grounds.

Last week, our Year 5 students enjoyed an exciting camp in Busselton with the theme: GO BEYOND – TOGETHER WE THRIVE. Throughout the camp, students reflected on the story of Nehemiah in the Bible as they explored what it means to: Go beyond in thinking beyond yourself, go beyond in choosing to be brave, go beyond when faced with opposition, go beyond and finish what you start
Maylands Yacht Club is running a five-day sailing program these school holidays from 6-10 October, 9:00am-1:00pm. The course is open to school-aged children, from complete beginners to those with some sailing experience.
On Friday 26 September, our Junior School will be holding the Cambodia Colour Fun Run to support RAW Impact, a charity that brings hope and practical help to communities in Cambodia.
On Wednesday 20 August, the Year 1 and 2 students participated in an incursion by the Water Corp. They learned about Perth’s three drinking water sources, completed activities to learn about the need to protect our catchments, and understood the journey of water and its treatment from the sources to our taps.
We’re excited to invite families to this year’s Junior School production, Hop It, Poppit!, presented by Fenceline Theatre. This original performance promises a delightful mix of humour, heart and important life lessons.
On Thursday 7 August, the Swan Early Learning community came together for a heartwarming Kindergarten Dinner, uniting parents and children who will embark on a fantastic Kindergarten journey in 2026.
From 11 to 15 August, the Science Department celebrated Science Week with a series of engaging lunchtime activities under the theme Decoding the Universe. Students explored topics such as DNA, blood, chemistry, Earth and space through hands-on sessions, films and discussions.
Year 10 students at Swan Christian College are invited to take part in the Try a Trade Hospitality Day in the Swan Hospitality kitchen on Wednesday 17 September 2025.
