As we reach the end of another term at Swan Christian College and move into the summer terms, there are a number of matters that I need to bring to your attention. Before I do that, I must take this opportunity to wish all students, parents and staff a happy holiday and I look forward to seeing you all back here ready for the final, busy term.

Roads Upgrade

Main Roads will be working on both the entry and exit to the College during the holiday period in order to address safety concerns and ensure the signage is more informative to traffic using the highway and coming into the College. We are delighted that this is finally happening and look forward to completion.

If you intend to come into the College during the holidays, please be aware that this work will be happening and plan your journey with the possibility of disruption in mind.

Mobile phones

As of Term 4, mobile phones for students should not be visible or used on College grounds between the hours of 8:00am - 3:15pm. This is a slight change in times from the current times of 8:30am and is aimed at encouraging students to move into a more focused learning frame of mind before classes start. Please note that Student Services are open from 8:00am allowing parent contact to occur through this service.

A reminder to parents that summer uniform is to be worn by all students in Term 4 (next term). Please check your child’s summer uniform before the end of Term 3 to make sure everything is still in good order.

Please ensure you are familiar with the 2019 Uniform Guide and refer to it when purchasing uniform items for next term.

The College Uniform Shop is located in building Q at Swan Christian College. If you require a fitting appointment please contact the Uniform Shop on 9250 1306 during shop opening hours, or email
