Breakfast club has been bustling this term with many students from Year 5-12 coming in and having some food to set them up for the busy day ahead. Often, Ms Walden, who runs the Breakfast Club will make a special and last week it was high protein cinnamon buns, they came out of the oven and flew out the door, hugely popular!
During Week 4 Ms Joanna Walden took her Year 10 Food Technology class out on a camping cook up. When the class arrived at the classroom they collected all the equipment they would need and carried it out to a remote spot on the school oval. Using a camping gas stove, they gently heated some oil and each group put all the ingredients into a zip lock bag. The ingredients were mixed around in the bag (to prevent mess and creating lots of washing up)
After an early wake up call, students and teachers met at the Rottnest Ferry dock in Fremantle ready with snorkels and fins in hand on Wednesday 22 February 2023 for our Year 12 General Outdoor Education Rottnest trip. The purpose of the camp was to assess snorkelling skills learnt after a few weeks of snorkelling theory and excursions at the pool and Mettams in North Beach. The weather was perfect with highs of 27 degrees and good visibility under the water.
