Philippines Impact Trip: Day 11

After a week spent at the Ati school, today was a much-needed break. Our snorkelling trip had finally arrived and the weather couldn't have been more perfect.

Today we returned to the Masa Ati school and began Christmas crafts with the children, tutored or helped with the playground construction.

Year 7 Student Thinks Outside the Box

We have been learning about renewable and non-renewable energy and as part of our research task, I made a Pelton turbine and Stirling engine

Today the group began our Sunday by going to church before making our way up to one of the local Ati tribes to meet the Chief and his people

Today we all went over to the Masa Ati school to truly start our impact trip off with what we came to do.

Blackwood Relay Marathon

It was a cold and windy day as 13 students and five teachers left the College to race in the Blackwood Relay Marathon.

Augusta Adventure Race

It was a sunny but windy day as we left Swan Christian College at recess time to head down towards Augusta with 59 students (and 9 teachers)

Year 9 Transition

Last Wednesday was the culmination of the Year 9 Coming of Age program a symbolic handing over of the students from Middle to Senior School.

All School Triathlon

This years triathlon team was one of the strongest teams the College has ever taken to this annual event.

Telstra Kids Digital Explorer Kits Grant

The Information Technology teaching area is happy to announce that the College has received the Telstra Kids Digital Explorer kit grant.

Year 6 Celebration

The Year 6 students will have their celebration evening on Thursday 7 December from 6:00pm in the Maali Mia.

Year 5A Assembly

The 5A assembly celebrated the learning experienced by students over the course of the year, anchored within a strong biblical message.
