On Thursday 12 June, Swan Christian College held its Senior Instrumental Music Night, showcasing the skills and hard work of our student musicians.
On 27 and 28 June, Swan Christian College will be transformed into a working film set for The Borrowed Song, an exciting short film project under the Film Futures Initiative.
This week saw several of our NEAS soccer and netball teams step up to the challenge in their respective finals, demonstrating determination, teamwork and strong College spirit.
Our Year 6 students are currently in Canberra and Sydney for their interstate tour, which began on Sunday 22 June and concludes on Saturday 28 June. The week has been filled with hands-on learning, early mornings, and opportunities to grow through adventure, reflection, and challenge.
On Thursday 19 June, our Year 6 students took to the court for the termly sports competition against College staff. This time, it was netball, and the friendly rivalry and strong team spirit were on full display.
As we approach the end of Term 2, please note that the final day of term will be Friday 27 June.
This past week, audiences were treated to a lively and entertaining theatre experience as Making Robin Hood took to the stage at Maali Mia Theatre. Directed by Jane Hille and featuring a cast of talented Swan Christian College alumni, the show played to enthusiastic crowds across its three-night run, with opening night completely sold out.
On Thursday 19 June, Maali Mia Theatre was filled with music and joy as students from the Junior School showcased their talents in two special events.
On Tuesday, students from Kindergarten to Year 5 enjoyed a fun and engaging incursion with Constable Care and friends. Through theatre, puppet shows, storytelling and interactive sessions, students explored important topics around safety in a way that was both educational and entertaining.
From 2026, SCEA will commence the implementation of an important change to student devices. Instead of students bringing their own device (BYOD) to school, SCEA will begin providing students with high quality, school-managed Apple devices to support their learning.
Junior School students can look forward to an exciting and purposeful Cambodia Day on Friday 26 September in Term 3, with the Colour Fun Run as the centrepiece of the event.
We are excited to again be hosting a NAIDOC Celebration Day in the Junior School as part of the College’s NAIDOC events in week 1 in Term 3. Our focus day for students in Kindergarten to Year 6 students will be on Friday 25 July.
We are pleased to invite all Swan Christian College alumni from the Classes of 1995, 2005, and 2015 to a relaxed evening of connection and celebration. This special event offers a chance to catch up with old classmates, reconnect with past teachers, and reflect on your time at the College.

On 17 May Saturday evening, the Gym at Swan Christian College was alive with music, movement and community spirit as families from across the Junior and Senior Schools gathered for the College’s much-anticipated Community Bushdance.
Last Thursday, eight dedicated staff members accompanied 79 excited Year 4 students on their first ever Year 4 Camp. The theme for the camp was Ninja Academy, where students explored what it means to be a 'ninja' – focusing on qualities such as resilience, courage, teamwork and perseverance.
Congratulations to Year 7 student Riley C on his recent WA Baseball successes.
On Wednesday 21 May, the Senior School community came together for a fun and meaningful lunchtime event to raise over $3,000 for Beyond Blue.
Murdoch University is hosting a Parent & Supporters Information Evening on Wednesday 4 June for families of students in Years 9 to 12 seeking to help parents better understand university pathways, application processes, fees, scholarships and more
Don't miss this laugh-out-loud comedy suitable for the whole family! Making Robin Hood is a clever and chaotic play directed by Jane Hille, featuring Swan Christian College alumni.
